 Volker Bertelmann wins Oscar for best film score

At the 95th Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on March 12, composer Volker Bertelmann was awarded the Oscar for "Music (Original Score)" for his score for the anti-war film "All Quiet On The Western Front" The film, directed by Edward Berger, was nominated for 9 Oscars and won a total of four. Volker Bertelmann, who is also known by his stage name Hauschka, was already nominated for a music Oscar in 2017 together with Dustin O'Halloran for the music to the novel adaptation "Lion: A Long Way Home." On February 19, he was also already honored with a British Academy Film Award (BAFTA) for his phenomenal score. Watch the film now on Netflix & listen to the score here!
